Hope. We all want a sense of hope in our lives. We want so badly to know that , though things are bad right now, tomorrow holds promise of newness. Peace. The world around us at times seems to be spinning out of control. Our hearts and minds are churning trying to find stability in trying times. We want an inner peace that lasts a lifetime. Joy. Happiness comes and goes with the good times and the bad times. It always seems so fleeting. Is it possible to have a contented, balanced, and peaceful heart and mind in the midst of tumult? Relationship. We all have need of relationship, a need to connect - to love and be loved.
The Good News is that all of this is possible. It can be found in a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Through Christ, a person is made new (born again) and can start life all over again. Hope, peace and joy are all available to those who have a personal relationship with God through Jesus Christ.
Jesus said that He is the “way, the truth, and the life” and that no one can have a relationship with God the Father, except that they surrender their life to Jesus, by inviting Him into their life. Through this relationship, they are born again and are adopted into the family of God. As children of God, they enjoy all of the best that God has to offer. And God gives things that are much more valuable and precious than what the world can give. He brings hope that tomorrow is taken care of, peace that He is in control, and joy that goes beyond human understanding.
